Rodney Wayne’s spring 2012 campaign Mothers. Daughters. Sisters. celebrates the enduring partnerships between mums and daughters from all over New Zealand.
Featuring the iconic faces of three pairs of girls, the campaign embraces the beauty of all ages of women. Based firmly in fashion, these three portraits capture the spirit of the Rodney Wayne girl.
Styled by Rodney Wayne Creative Director Richard Kavanagh, this spring’s campaign features model mothers and daughters Brigette Berger & Lily Montana Griffiths and Esther Cronin and mum Sarah, as well as model Cait Kneller and sister Sarah.
Kavanagh styled the campaign, assisted by his Auckland-based Rodney Wayne artistic team, to reflect the creativity of the modern Kiwi girl and the bonds formed between mother and daughter. Now, more than ever, the togetherness of family and the sharing of special experiences is a cherished and revered aspect of life.
“One of the great things about being a hairstylist is having the opportunity to make women look and feel their best” says Richard. “In creating the looks for this summer’s campaign I was able to translate the key trends in texture, colour, shape and emotion from the catwalks of the world’s fashion capital’s into fashion-focused, yet totally wearable styles. Have fun with your hair this summer; a pop of colour, some choppy texture or precise classic lines – whatever your style, make sure it moves with you!”
To coincide with the release of the Rodney Wayne spring ’12 campaign, mothers, daughters and sisters all over New Zealand can treat each other to a special experience in their local Rodney Wayne salon. From November ’12 throughout summer (for a limited time), invite your mother, sister or daughter in with you when you book your appointment at Rodney Wayne and your guest will receive a complimentary shampoo, scalp massage and finish. Plus you’ll both go into the draw to win a goody bag containing champagne (18yrs and over only), Bennett’s chocolates, perfume and high tea for you and your guest at The Langham Auckland or various locations around New Zealand.
