Beautiful People: Emma Cruickshank

We talk beauty with the ridiculously beautiful Emma Cruickshank who runs popular fashion and PR agency Public Library, which represents labels such as Maurie and Eve, Ksubi, Vanishing Elephant and Chronicles of Never Eyewear.

How would you describe your personal style, fashion and beauty wise?
My style changes all the time but looking at my wardrobe you would say I tend to always go for lots of leather and denim but I also have a major obsession with knitwear. I like mixing a lot of vintage into my wardrobe also. Beauty wise I like to keep things pretty simple, I like glowing pale skin, dark eyebrows and mascarra and I always keep my hair bleached.

What five products can’t you live without?
Osmosis Polish exfoliator (this is an instant fix for dull skin), ID mineral foundation, Bee Venom masks, Moroccan Oil and Almond Oil.

What is your top beauty tip or trick?
I have just discovered Bee Venom masks, I swear these plump your skin and make you look less tired. I also love almond oil as a body moisturiser.

How do you stay healthy and glowing?
I try and eat as well as I can and I down omega 3 fish oil tablets every day and lots of vitamin c. I love Pilates also.

What are your thoughts on plastic surgery?
I am not against it but I personally would never do it. Whatever makes you happy though.

Who is your beauty icon and why?
I love Georgia Jagger; to me she always looks flawless and not contrived. She has beautiful eyes and lips and she always looks young and fresh.

What has been your biggest beauty disaster?
Wow I have had so many; I think my peachy pink hair back in 2008 was a bit of a disaster along with bad fake tan back in my school days and some bad, bad blusher moments. I will never use these two products again.

How do you treat yourself?
The very odd facial, pilates, a nice hot bath and a wee DIY manicure at home.
